I first realized I had a passion for photography when I kept getting frustrated by the limitations of my “top-of-the-line” point-and-shoot Canon while traveling through Asia. After spending some time learning the fundamentals on my family’s old Pentax film camera, I stepped up to a full digital SLR a few years ago and have never looked back.
Besides travel photography, I’ve tried my hand at everything from architectural to wedding to concert photography. What I get most excited about is discovering unique things in our world that I can capture with my own special style. Though not the most technical of photographers, I feel my work captures the essence of the subject and has a bit of my soul, as well.
